"We're supposed to be good stewards of what God gives us..."

The gas boom keeps producing new experts. People who knew nothing about natural gas only a year or two ago can now discuss the details of drilling and fracking. Gas has become more than a business; it's become part of the community.  One of these experts is Michael, whose 42 trucks carry water to and from drilling sites.

Michael still spends as much time as possible in the woods. He's so serious about hunting that his kids love deer-burgers and think hamburgers taste funny. Shale Country has lots of people like Michael—they love the land and see gas as one more wonder that nature offers.
